Ural Airlines is an acknowledged leader among all air carriers in Russia

Based on the results of 2010, Ural Airlines received an international award called "Golden Chariot". Passenger traffic volumes, stability and flight safety, compliance with international standards allowed the company to win the award under category "Russian Air Carrier Leader".

As it was reported to "RusBusinessNews" by the airline's Press Service, the awarding ceremony took place on April 11, 2011 in Dubai and was held as part of the 59th World Congress and exposition of International Union of Public Transport (IUPT). For the first time ever, "Golden Chariot" award had a new - international - status.

Ural Airlines is one of the ten major Russian air carriers based on the passenger traffic volume. In 2010, 1,792,220 passengers made use of Ural Airlines services. The air park of the carrier consists of 16 Airbus aircrafts. The company is planning to purchase two airplanes, А321 and А320, in 2011.
