VSMPO-AVISMA has signed contracts at Le Bourget

The Corporation VSMPO-AVISMA, OJSC is supplying more of their products to leading aircraft companies. As "RusBusinessNews" was informed by the corporation's press office, representatives of VSMPO-AVISMA signed an agreement at the air show in Le Bourget with the international holding corporation AVIC to sell titanium and aluminum semi-finished products that were manufactured in China by the Russian company.

The parties signed their first agreement in 2003. The current document, their fourth, will be in effect until May 2014. In addition, the corporation entered into a contract valid until 2020 with Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH (Germany) to supply titanium forgings for the nose landing gear of the A350 XWB line of aircraft.

AVIC International is a certified manufacturer and subcontractor. Its product line includes, among other things, aircraft nose sections, fuselages, wings, moving parts, and tail sections. The corporation is an importer and exporter of aviation products and works with Boeing, Airbus, GE, and Rolls Royce.

Liebherr-Aerospace manufactures flight control and air management systems, which are used in wide-, narrow-body, and regional airplanes, service, combat, military, and military training aircraft, and civilian and military helicopters.
