New Neurosurgery Centre for Tyumen in 200916.04.2009 — News THE TYUMEN OBLAST. On 16 April 2009, the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President in the Urals Federal District Nikolay Vinnichenko visited the construction site of the Tyumen Neurosurgery Centre that is designed to have the capacity of 3 thousand operations per year. RusBusinessNews was informed by the Oblast Government that the centre is scheduled to be launched in the end of 2009. The Tyumen Neurosurgery Centre will be amongst the leaders in the country in terms of the level of hi-tech procedures. The Centre will take patients from various regions of Russia in accordance to the special quota system. The best Russian medical high schools will train 24 specialists especially for the opening of the centre. The Ministry of Health and Social Development will send state-of-the-art medical equipment to Tyumen. Now there are 3 similar hi-tech medical procedure centres in Russia - in Penza, Astrakhan, and Cheboksary. In addition to these, the construction of such centres continues in Chelyabinsk, Khabarovsk, and Krasnodar. |
