Passenger traffic on Ural Airlines has increased by 36% this year14.11.2011 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION. In comparison with last year, Ural Airlines is showing steady growth of 30-40% in its 2011 performance figures. Between January and October, the airline flew 2,127,359 passengers, which is an increase of 36% over 2010. Ural Airline's press office told RusBusinessNews that the company had made 18,043 flights in the past ten months, 9,494 of which were to destinations outside the Russian Federation. Ural Airlines is one of the top ten major Russian airlines for volume of traffic. In 2010, the air carrier served 1,792,220 passengers, and the company's planes completed 16,655 flights. The airline's primary aircraft fleet consists of 20 A320s and A321s. |
