Ural Airlines reported a 276.179 million rubles net profit for January-September 2011, demonstrating a 2.8-fold year-on-year increase. At the same time, the proceeds of the carrier went up 1.3 times, totaling 13.138 billion rubles. The airline company's Press Service has informed RusBusinessNews that the better financial performance resulted from the new destinations offered by the company and the improved air traffic performance. Over the three quarters of the current year, Ural Airlines increased its passenger flow by 36% to 1.9 million people. The new routes offered by the airline company in October include flights from Chelyabinsk to Vienna, Harbin and Dubai. Starting from November 24, Ural Airlines will commence flights servicing the St. Petersburg - Lankaran (Azerbaijan) route. |
