VSMPO-AVISMA is building a winning portfolio of orders for 2012

In 2011, the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC intends to supply more than 8 thousand tons of titanium products to Russian consumers, reaching a post-Soviet-time high in the industry.

The VSMPO-AVISMA press-office has informed RusBusinessNews that the corporation has already received orders for 11 thousand tons of products to be supplied in 2012. Half of them have been prepaid.

According to Mikhail Voevodin, VSMPO-AVISMA General Director, the Russian titanium market will continue its impressive upswing next year. Titanium products manufactured by the corporation are most sought-after by companies operating in the state budgeted sectors: civil aviation, power engineering, and defense and nuclear power industries. In the opinion of Mikhail Voevodin, the increased volume of orders for VSMPO-AVISMA products is indicative of efficiency of the industrial policy pursued by the Russian government.
