Baker Hughes is studying Uralvagonzavod's products01.02.2012 — News KIROV REGION. The oil and gas company Baker Hughes intends to begin work with the Electric Machine Building Works LEPSE (part of the Uralvagonzavod research and production company, OJSC). The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that Baker Hughes is interested in pumping equipment, especially small cross-dimensional units. The Kirov plant manufactures equipment that can be used in deviated or structurally complex oil wells, including those with variable production rates. Baker Hughes believes that these innovations will be in high demand on the international market. Baker Hughes is the third largest oil-field services provider in the world, with offices in over 90 countries. The company evaluates oil reserves, does drilling work, and constructs oil-field surface facilities. |
