VSMPO-AVISMA's performance numbers are setting new records

VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC manufactured 24,600 tons of titanium products in 2011 (+19% from 2010).

The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that this is the highest production rate in the company's history. According to Dmitry Trifonov, the director of production at VSMPO-AVISMA, all that prevented the corporation from meeting even higher targets was the shortage of titanium sponge in the first half of the year.

VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation plans to increase production by a third in 2012, manufacturing 32,700 tons of titanium products. The company will focus on products with a high added value, such as stampings, rings, and forgings.
