Ural Airlines will connect Nizhny Novgorod to the Czech Republic27.03.2012 — News NIZHNY NOVGOROD. On March 24, 2012, Ural Airlines began direct service between Nizhny Novgorod and Prague. Flights to the Czech capital will operate on Saturdays, and the minimum round-trip fare will be 230 euros, excluding fuel surcharges. The airline's press office told RusBusinessNews that Ural Airlines and Czech Airlines, the Czech national carrier, have a through check-in agreement, thus simplifying travel for passengers with connecting flights in Prague and eliminating the need for them to collect their luggage at the Prague airport and then check in again for their next flight. Ural Airlines is one of the top ten major Russian airlines for safety and volume of traffic. In 2011, the air carrier served over 2.5 million passengers.
