Ural Airlines is currently launching new routes to Europe and Asia04.04.2012 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION. Ural Airlines continues to expand its range of international destinations. At the beginning of April, 2012, the carrier launched new routes to China and Germany. The airline's press office told RusBusinessNews that a new flight between Irkutsk and Guangzhou has been added to the six routes Ural Airlines already offers to the Middle Kingdom. This flight will be offered on Sundays and costs 299 euros round-trip, excluding fuel surcharges. The Moscow - Cologne itinerary will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and more flights will be available beginning in June. A one-way ticket will cost between 30 and 199 euros (excluding fuel surcharges). Connecting flights for passengers wishing to travel to Cologne will be available at Domodedovo airport from eight Russian cities (St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Irkutsk, Novokuznetsk, and Chita). Ural Airlines is one of the top ten major Russian airlines for safety and volume of traffic. In 2011, the air carrier served over 2.5 million passengers. Ural Airline's primary fleet consists of 24 Airbus aircraft. |
