Istanbul prepares for Busworld Turkey

On April 19, the Busworld Turkey exhibition will open in Istanbul.

This will be the fourth time that the Turkish capital has hosted this three-day, specialized exhibit for the manufacturers of buses and bus accessories. This year's main sponsor for the exhibition, which will occupy 20,000 square feet in the Istanbul Expo Center, is Mercedes-Benz.

BMC, Mercedes-Benz, Otokar, Temsa, VISEON, Brusa, and other local manufacturers will take part in the Turkish version of the well-known European exhibition, Busworld Kortrijk (Belgium). All the exhibition spaces had been snapped up by participants six weeks before the exhibit was to begin.

The exhibition will be preceded by a press day on April 18, during which all the participants in Busworld Turkey will make presentations to accredited journalists from a number of European countries. After the presentations, the two best stand designs, one from the bus manufacturers and the other one from the accessory manufacturers, will be selected.

The organizing committee has informed RusBusinessNews that the 7th Conference of the International Association of Public Transport is also scheduled to coincide with the exhibit.
