UVZ to buy castings and forgings in the Nizhny Novgorod region

The Uralvagonzavod research and production company, OJSC plans to purchase products from Ruspolimet, OJSC, and Avtokompozit, CJSC, which are located in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

By the end of April, a forging press will be put into operation at Ruspolimet that is able to process an ingot of up to 12 tons. Avtokomposit will soon open a production line for steel and iron castings weighing up to 80 kilograms.

Uralvagonzavod's press office told RusBusinessNews  that the companies' products will be used to manufacture railroad cars and to fulfill a defense order from the state. Ruspolimet and Avtokompozit are part of the Motor-Invest holding company.
