VSMPO-AVISMA and the Perm Motor Plant entered into a three-year agreement

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, and the Perm Motor Plant, OJSC, have signed their first agreement for the term of three years, though they started their cooperation almost half a century ago. The agreement was signed at the Farnborough International Airshow-2012, which will work till July 15.

The Corporation’s press-service has informed RusBusinessNews that from 2013 to 2015 VSMPO will supply the Perm-based plant with semi-products made of titanium alloys for commercial engines and gas-turbine ground units. The total sales will exceed 45 million US dollars.

The Perm Motor Plant, OJSC, manufactures aircraft engines for more than 20 leading airlines of Russia and other countries. For example, PS-90А and its modifications are used on aircraft of the fleet of the RF President. The Perm Motor Plant also manufactures gas-turbine units of 12 types for companies operating in the oil-and-gas and power-generating sector.
