Uralvagonzavod is moving its production of roadway-construction equipment to Chelyabinsk26.07.2012 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION The Uralvagonzavod research and production corporation, OJSC will no longer manufacture any wheeled equipment for civilian use at its main plant in Nizhny Tagil, shifting that work instead to its subsidiary, ChTZ-Uraltrac, LLC, in Chelyabinsk. Production of excavators and loaders will begin at the new site. Uralvagonzavod's press office told RusBusinessNews that the first shipment of vehicles and loader attachments will be ready by the fall of 2012. There are also plans to transfer all the design and construction documentation for the excavators and loaders to the company in Chelyabinsk, meaning that ChTZ-Uraltrac will not only manufacture that type of equipment, it will also produce improvements and new products. |
