VSMPO-AVISMA has gained an access to the Vietnamese titanium

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Limited (Vinacomin), a Vietnamese corporation.

The corporation’s Press-Service has informed RusBusinessNews that the document states the willingness of the parties to set up a joint venture in Vietnam where they are going to process titanium-bearing minerals into higher value-added products. The type of the joint venture, terms and conditions of its launching, activities, distribution of stakes in the authorized capital will be defined after Vinacomin receives a license for titanium mining in the Vietnamese province – Binh Thuan.
