Uralvagonzavod is going to repair armored vehicles in Kazakhstan

The Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation and the national Kazakhstan Engineering company signed a memorandum of cooperation during the IX Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum, which was held on September 19 in Pavlodar.

The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that the document was a confirmation of the parties' intention to establish a joint venture in the republic to repair and upgrade armored tanks. This memorandum serves the interests of both the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, and makes it possible for Uralvagonzavod to expand its sales of products and services.

Kazakhstan Engineering consists of a group of 24 businesses that specialize in the manufacture of products for the oil and gas industry, railroads, and agribusiness, in addition to the production and repair of weapons and military equipment.
