Branded aircrafts to support Ekaterinburg’s EXPO application

Four aircrafts of Ural Airlines will carry a logo image of the EXPO international exhibition and a slogan "Ekaterinburg World Expo 2020. Candidate City" on board till the end of 2013.

This way the Airline supports the initiative of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev to promote Ekaterinburg as the EXPO host city.

Representatives of the regional government told "RusBusinessNews" that branded A320 will fly to Europe, the Mediterranean countries and the Middle East countries. "Ural Airlines" specifically chose aircrafts that often perform international flights for the campaign. First EXPO Airbus aircraft will fly to Moscow and then to Krasnoyarsk, Harbin, and other cities.

Ural Airlines is currently one of the top ten major Russian airlines for safety and volume of traffic. In 2011, the air carrier served over 2.5 million passengers. Ural Airlines' primary fleet consists of 25 Airbus aircrafts.
