Sverdlovsk Region will increase cement production by 30%05.12.2012 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION In 2015, a new process line for dry cement production will be commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region. The project with an estimated budget of 12 billion rubles is planned to be implemented by the EUROCEMENT Group holding on the facilities of Nevyansky Cementnik, CJSC. The Group’s regional branch informed RusBusinessNews that after commissioning of the assembly line with annual production capacity of 1.3 million ton Sverdlovsk Region will be able to increase the volume of cement output 1.3-fold to 4.7 million ton per year. EUROCEMENT Group project is supposed to help the development of construction cluster in the northern part of the region. Nizhny Tagil, the second largest city in the Sverdlovsk Region in terms of population, shall become the key construction site. EUROCEMENT Group holding is ranked among top 8 largest global cement producers. The holding is comprised of 16 cement plants in Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan and has overall production capacity of 40 million ton of cement. |
