VSMPO-AVISMA is increasing the titanium output by 2%

In 2013, the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, intends to produce more than 43 thousand tons of titanium sponge, thus improving the performance by 2.3% against 2012.

The representatives of the Press Service of the corporation have informed RusBusinessNews that to reach its output target VSMPO will bring in more than 100 thousand tons of ilmenite concentrate required for the production process.

The ramping up of the output will be supported through the investment program of the corporation. In 2013, the corporation is planning to invest about 6 billion rubles in upgrading of its production facilities; last year the amount of investment totaled approximately 8 billion rubles.
