VSMPO-AVISMA's Ukrainian subsidiary to begin the production of welded pipes

In 2014, VSMPO Titan Ukraine Ltd., which is part of VSMPO-AVISMA, OJSC, established the manufacture of lengthy titanium pipes. Prior to this, that business, which is located in the town of Nikopol, had only produced cold-finished, seamless pipes.

The corporation’s press office told RusBusinessNews that two Italian Olympia-80 welding lines have been installed in the Ukrainian company's workshops. This equipment is designed to produce pipes that are 12-60 mm. in diameter and up to 26 meters long.

These new products will be shipped out through the international sea port in Odessa to the producers of nuclear reactors and desalination plants in China and Korea.
