VSMPO to increase its production of welded pipes by 400%

In 2013, the VSMPO-Avisma Corporation, OJSC in Verkhnyaya Salda will increase its production of welded titanium pipes, from 35 tons in January to 125 tons in June.

The corporation’s press office told RusBusinessNews that this expansion was planned because of the large number of contracts that have been concluded with consumers of these products.

The pipe-welding unit of the Verkhnyaya Salda-based company currently fills orders for the Leningradsky Metals Plant and the Chinese corporations Harbin Turbine and Dongfang. A contract is also in place to supply pipes to Turboatom in Kharkiv.
