CHTZ-URALTRAC has delivered a new model of landfill compactor to Georgia22.04.2013 — News CHELYABINSK REGION CHTZ-URALTRAC, LLC, a subsidiary of the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, has provided a BKK-2 universal compactor to be used by utilities services in Tbilisi. The corporation’s press office told RusBusinessNews that the Georgians had announced a tender for the right to supply specialized equipment. The German company BOMAG was CHTZ-URALTRAC's rival in this competition, but the Russian company prevailed. The BKK-2 is a multifunctional machine, primarily designed to consolidate household waste at landfill sites. When the spiked drums are replaced with wheels, the compactor can be used as a loader. Switching out the bucket for a blade turns the BKK-2 into a wheel dozer. A special device is supplied with the compactor that can be used to change out these parts. |
