Ural Airlines has begun using the Amadeus online check-in system01.07.2013 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION Ural Airlines will be the first Russian air carrier to move to an online flight check-in system, built on the Amadeus Altea IT platform for passenger service. Ural Airline’s press office told RusBusinessNews that once the new model is up and running, passengers will have access to a more convenient interface and a range of additional services. For example, it will be possible to change one's seat assignment or reprint a lost boarding pass. The Altea platform is used by more than 110 of the world's leading airlines, including Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, British Airways, Qantas, Air Berlin, Qatar Airways, Finnair, Air Astana, and Rossiya. Ural Airlines is among the top five leading Russian airlines in terms of safety and volume of traffic. In 2012 the carrier served over 3.5 million passengers. Its primary fleet consists of 29 Airbus aircraft. |
