Oil Production in Ugra Down 3.5% Due to Crisis04.05.2009 — News UGRA. 66.8 million tons of oil was produced in Ugra in January-March of 2009, which is 3.5% lower than the figure for the last year's equivalent period. The regional authorities forecast the production volumes of about 270 million tons this year. The regional government informed RusBusinessNews that the 2009 oil production leaders are NK Rosneft with 17 million tons, OAO Surgutneftegaz with 14.3 million tons, NK LUKOIL with 12.9 million tons of oil, and TNK-BP Management with 11.3 million tons. Gas production on the territory of the Autonomous Okrug amounted to 8.89 billion cubic metres in the first quarter which is only 0.7% less than the figure for January-March 2008. OAO Surgutneftegaz produced the largest volume - 3.44 billion cubic metres. TNK-BP Management has increased its production volume by +8.4% in comparison with the same period last year to 2.5 billion cubic metres. |
