Hilton Will Give Five Stars to Perm

The first five-star hotel is going to open in Perm in the first half of 2011. Doubletree by Hilton in Perm will be the second of the Doubletree chain in Russia.

The new hotel total area will amount to 20 thousand square metres. The five-star Doubletree by Hilton Perm is designed for 224 rooms. It will also host a fitness-centre featuring a swimming pool, a spa-centre, and a conference area for 500 people. The amount of investment into the project development is estimated at 25 million Euro. BK-Development (founded by the Business-Contact Company and the Perm Confectionery Plant) is in charge of the financing and owns the land site where the hotel will be erected. BK-Development plans to engage both own and borrowed finances.

The German architect bureau Kochta Architekten GmbH is the project's chief architect. BS Hospitality Management is providing the construction with technical support and will manage the hotel after the opening. Starting 2009, the company has already been in charge of Hilton Garden Inn Perm (102 rooms, four stars by Russian classification).

BS Hospitality Management informed RusBusinessNews that the company received approvals from the Hilton Hotels Corporations and approvals from the Perm City Administration for the Doubletree by Hilton Perm construction. At present the hotel project design has been completed and preparations for the construction have begun.
