VSMPO-AVISMA plans to have a plant operating in the Titanium Valley by 2016

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC and the Titanium Valley special economic zone have signed an agreement to build a new production facility for VSMPO within the zone.

VSMPO-AVISMA's press office told RusBusinessNews that work at the site is scheduled for completion in 2016. A center will be constructed there to machine titanium components. A second plant owned by the joint venture Ural Boeing Manufacturing (founded by VSMPO and the Boeing group) should be erected at those sites.

In the near future the Titanium Valley special economic zone must determine the lot on which the facilities will be built and bring in utility lines to that location.
