VSMPO-AVISMA and Airbus will start mechanical tooling of titanium

At the Farnborough Airshow, the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, and the Airbus Group signed an agreement on mechanical tooling of parts for the A350 XWB program at the facilities of the Ural company.

The VSMPO-AVISMA Press Service has informed RusBusinessNews that this type of agreement with the European aviation concern has been signed for the first time. The supplies under the agreement will start in 2015.

Besides, at the UK-based Farnborough Airshow the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation signed supply contracts with France-based Figeac Aero, Chinese AVIC, German PFW Aerospace.
