VSMPO to supply SAFRAN with $50 million dollars' worth of titanium plates

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC and SAFRAN, a leading French engine manufacturer, have signed a long-term agreement, as part of which the Urals-based business will supply titanium plates to produce leading edges for the fan blades of LEAP engines.

VSMPO-AVISMA'S press office told RusBusinessNews that they expect to see revenues of approximately $50 million USD.

VSMPO-AVISMA and SAFRAN have been working together for over ten years. The newly signed document will extend this mutually beneficial partnership until 2034.
