Uralvagonzavod Corporation will fulfil the state defense order ahead of schedule

In 2014 the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, OJSC, will supply more than 1,500 units of combat equipment and machines to the RF Ministry of Defense. At the moment the state defense order has been fulfilled by 95%. In December the equipment will be supplied towards 2015.

The Press Service of the corporation has informed RusBusinessNews that the size of the state defense order for 2015 will remain at the level of the current year. In 2014 the size of the state order placed with the subsidiaries of the Uralvagonzavod Corporation increased 2.5 times as compared to 2013, in absolute terms.

According to Vyacheslav Khalitov, Deputy Director General for Special-Purpose Equipment of Uralvagonzavod, 40% of the Uralvagonzavod military products are manufactured for the Army Forces.
