The Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, OJSC, introduced upgraded armored fighting vehicles in Peru

The Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation is participating in the 5^th International Exhibition of Technology for Defense, SITDEF-2015, which started on May 14 in the territory of the General Staff of Land Forces of Peru. The exposition of UVZ has been visited by Jakke Valakivi Alvarez, the Republic’s Minister of Defense, and Ronald Hurtado Jimenez, the Army Commander.

The Press Service of the Corporation has informed RusBusinessNews that the visitors were shown the following models: upgraded armored fighting vehicles T-90S and T-72, military vehicles BMPT and BMPT-72, as well as engineering machinery – armored demining machine BMR-3МС, obstacle clearing engineer vehicle BREM-1M, heavy mechanized bridge TMM-6, and others.

Capabilities of these machines are demonstrated in videos. The Peruvians will also be able to evaluate the firepower, floating and maneuvering parameters of the “exhibits” on the 10^th International Exhibition of Arms, Military Equipment and Ammunition, Russia Arms EXPO, in Nizhny Tagil.
