Airbus delegation visited VSMPO-AVISMA

Airbus representatives paid a two-day visit to the VSMPO-Avisma Corporation, OJSC. The delegation consisted of nine managers led by Olivier Cauquil, Senior Vice-President for Material Procurement.

The Press Service of the Corporation has informed RusBusinessNews that the visitors measured the scope of modernization of VSMPO-AVISMA by visiting new sites of skull furnaces in the melting shop, a forging complex based on hydraulic press with capacity of 4,000 tons and other facilities in Verkhnyaya Salda. They also visited the machining shop, which turns out products of deep degree of processing.

VSMPO-AVISMA and Airbus have been maintaining business ties for over 20 years.
