VSMPO-AVISMA and Rolls-Royce sign contracts for 300 million dollars10.07.2015 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, and British Rolls-Royce have signed three contracts totaling 300 million US dollars. The representatives of the Press Service of the corporation have informed RusBusinessNews that under the contracts, which will remain in effect till 2025, VSMPO-AVISMA will supply titanium rolled and semi-fabricated products to Rolls-Royce, including forgings for disks and rings from various titanium alloys. Mikhail Voevodin, General Director of VSMPO-AVISMA, says that today the Ural company has ambitious objectives, focusing on extension of the product line for aviation engine building. "The signing of the new long-term agreements with Rolls-Royce, one of the world leaders in the industry, proves that the corporation is moving in the right direction, staking on development of high-tech production," Mikhail Voevodin said. |
