Ural Airlines rank among the world’s safest airlines

Ural Airlines entered the list of the world’s safest airlines in 2015, having been awarded the maximum seven-star safety rating by the Airlinerating.com independent portal.

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the carrier’s Press Service, more than 400 airlines took part in the survey. 148 carriers received the maximum safety assessment score.

The ranking criteria included safety measures, in-flight comfort, regular upgrading of the aircraft fleet, the age of airlines, and the level of airports of their location. Airlines of Australia, USA, Europe, and United Arab Emirates topped the ranking.

Ural Airlines ranked among the top five Russian airlines in terms of air traffic volume in November 2015. Over 11 months during last year the airline provided services to more than 5.1 million passengers.
