RCC’s Mikheevsky Mining and Processing Integrated Works reached a depth of 100 meters01.03.2016 — News CHELYABINSK REGION The Mikheevsky Mining and Processing Integrated Works (a subsidiary of the Russian Copper Company (RCC)) reached the level of 100 meters during its mining operations at the porphyry copper deposit. As RusBusinessNews has been informed by RCC’s Press Service, by the end of the mining operations at the Mikheevsky deposit, the depth of the open-pit mine will reach 380 meters and the length will total approximately 3,000 meters. The ore reserves in this section are estimated at 400 million tons. The Mikheevsky Mining and Processing Integrated Works is the largest investment project implemented by the RCC Group in the Chelyabinsk Region in 2013. Annually, the enterprise produces about 300 thousand tons of copper concentrate for Karabashmed, CJSC (a subsidiary of RCC).
