VSMPO-AVISMA invests more than 4 billion rubles in ring rolling complex

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, PJSC, will complete the construction of a new ring rolling complex by August 2016. The project having the volume of investments of more than 4 billion rubles was launched in 2013.

The Press Service of the Corporation has informed RusBusinessNews that the rolling mill will make possible to adjust the production of machined titanium discs and rings. The enterprise of Verkhnyaya Salda will be able to produce rings with a complex shape of larger diameter (3,500 mm) and lesser weight, ring blanks for stamping disks from heat-resistant (nickel) alloys. These products are in demand in aviation, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering industries.

According to the results of the first nine months of 2015, VSMPO-AVISMA shipped the products for the amount of 48.8 billion rubles which was 12.6 billion rubles more than in 2014.
