Azot, a subsidiary of UCC URALCHEM, is investing 100 million rubles in the unique production29.04.2016 — News PERM REGION Azot, a subsidiary of UCC URALCHEM, JSC, has started upgrading the facility for producing higher aliphatic amines (HAA). More than 100 million rubles have been earmarked for the production that is totally new for Russia. Under the investment project, the replacement, repair and cleaning of the production equipment will be completed in two stages – in April and at the end of August. As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the company’s Press Service, it took Azot two years to launch manufacturing of the new product – granulated amines, which are used in flotation beneficiation of potash ores. Previously, Russian companies used to purchase a significant portion of granulated amines from foreign manufacturers. For convenience of its customers, Azot offers liquid and solid forms of the product that is highly competitive with European trademarks.
