The net profit from RCC’s South Ural assets totaled 3.2 billion rubles

The Russian Copper Company (RCC) tallied up the performance results of its Chelyabinsk Region-based subsidiaries over January-March 2016. Their net earnings totaled 3.2 billion rubles.

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by RCC’s Press Service, the Aleksandrinsk Mining Company produced 20,600 and 2,720 wet metric tons of copper and zinc concentrate, respectively. The revenue reached 974.2 million rubles and the net profit totaled 102.6 million rubles.

The Mikheevsky Mining and Processing Integrated Works produced 76,953 wet metric tons of copper concentrate. The revenue increased to more than 4.6 billion rubles, while the net profit totaled 1.45 billion rubles.

In the six-month period, Karabashmed shipped 27,180 tons of blister copper, and its revenue totaled 2.26 billion rubles, while the net profit amounted to 1.26 billion rubles.

The Kyshtym Copper-Electrolytic Plant manufactured 31,929 tons of copper cathodes, 24,171 tons of copper rod, 2,426 kilograms of coper sulfate and more than 17 thousand tons of precious metals in bars (822 kilograms of gold and 16,801 kilograms of silver). The revenue reached 2.74 billion rubles and the net profit earned by the plant totaled 387.5 million rubles.

RCC was founded in 2004. Its 13 core assets are integrated into an end-to-end production chain – from mining operations to selling copper products and precious metals. RCC’s subsidiaries are located in the Urals, Russia’s North-Western Region and Kazakhstan. Their annual output is 200 thousand tons of copper cathodes and 190 thousand tons of copper rod.
