The technological miracle was created with the participation of VSMPO-AVISMA, which supplied forgings, profiles, plates and rods, stamped parts, sheets made of titanium and aluminum alloys. The above products were used for manufacturing important components parts: the engine, outer wing panel, brackets, fuselage shell, under-fin compartment, doors, landing gear and others, as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Press Service of the Corporation. The MS-21 is a representative of the short-range and mid-range jet liner segment. In terms of technical solutions and comfort, it outmatches many competing aircraft, in the opinion of the designers of the Rostec State Corporation. Their opinion is shared by Mikhail Voevodin, General Director of VSMPO-AVISMA: "I am sure that the new Russian project – the MS-21 aircraft has a great future. When it is mass produced it will successfully compete with foreign airliners. Our Corporation is always ready to help it on its path to success".
