Passenger Traffic for Ural Airlines Grows by 9%

For the month of October 2019, Ural Airlines served 875,053 passengers, 9% more than this figure last year. Of those, it transported 469,282 people on international routes. In total, the carrier completed 5,794 flights, including 3,058 international trips. Passenger traffic for the month exceeded 2.18 billion passenger kilometers (+9%).

 

Over the last ten months, Ural Airlines has carried 8,277,436 passengers (+6%), of which 4,174,704 people were flying abroad. The airline informed RusBusinessNews that it made a total of 54,199 flights (+3%), with 26,495 to international destinations. Its passenger traffic grew by 7%, up to 20 billion passenger kilometers.

 

Ural Airlines is one of Russia’s leading airlines in passenger traffic. By the end of 2018, it had transported 9,000,579 passengers (+13%). The company’s flight geography includes more than 200 destinations. Ural Airlines’ fleet consists of aircraft from the European concern, Airbus. To date, it operates 47 airliners (24 A320s, 15 A321s, 5 A319s, 2 A320neos and 1 A321neo).
