VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation is run by a new CEO

On July, 2020 Sergey Stepanov was appointed as Director General of the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, PJSC. Previously, he held the post of Vice-President of EVRAZ, a global steel and mining company, and oversaw the Coal Division.

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the corporation’s Press Service, on July 1, the VSMPO-AVISMA Board of Directors terminated the appointment of Maxim Kuzyuk, the acting CEO of the titanium company.

The Board of Directors believes that Sergey Stepanov’s long experience as a top manager and his competencies will help the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation meet its main challenges: find and exploit new growth opportunities, maintain the high level of the company’s competitiveness, and ensure high returns to the company’s shareholders.

The former Director General of the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, PJSC, Mikhail Voevodin left his post at the beginning of May in 2020.
