Ural Airlines delivered nearly 3,000 tons of special cargo07.07.2020 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION From April 13 to June 30, 2020 Ural Airlines completed 284 special cargo flights from China and Taiwan to Russia and Europe. In total, the carrier’s aircraft transported 2,935 tons of personal protective equipment, medical equipment and components. As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the airline’s Press Service, in June alone, the airline completed 58 flights and delivered 612 tons of medical cargo. The aircraft flew from Beijing, Harbin, Hefei, Jinan, Changzhou, Taipei to Ekaterinburg and Zhukovsky as well as from the Urals’ capital to Budapest, Riga, Otopeni, Riyadh and other cities. Ural Airlines ranks among the leading Russian airlines by passenger traffic. In 2019, it provided services to 9,616,908 passengers (a 7% increase against 2018). Ural Airlines’ fleet consists of 48 Airbus airliners (3 A320neos, 2 A321neos, 23 A320s, 15 A321s and 5 A319s). |
