Ural Airlines has a new A321

Ural Airlines added the 49th jetliner from Airbus European aircraft-builder to its fleet. The new Airbus A321 has the registration number VP-BVR, 220 seats, and single class configuration, as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the carrier’s Press Service.

During the pandemic, Ural Airlines continues its fleet renewal program adopted in 2006. It is planning to add two more Airbus A321ceos to its fleet by the end of 2020.

At present, the airline operates a fleet of 44 Airbus A320ceo airliners (23 A320s, 16 A321s and 5 A319s) and five jetliners of the new Airbus A320neo line (3 A320neos, 2 A321neos).

Ural Airlines ranks among the leading Russian airlines by passenger traffic. In 2019, the airline carried 9,616,908 passengers (+7% against 2018).
