VSMPO started forging giant titanium slabs

The VSMPO forging workshop started forging 13-ton titanium slabs. They are twice as heavy as any standard product made at the shop. 

 

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the company’s representatives, giant slabs will be supplied to the joint Russian and American venture Uniti. The management of the joint venture was impressed by the high quality of slabs.
