Copper reserves at RCC’s Malmyzhskoe deposit estimated at 8.3 mln tons08.09.2021 — News

The revised estimate of the copper reserves at the Malmyzhskoe deposit in the Khabarovsk Territory showed a 60% increase compared to the previous estimate. The additional in-mine exploration performed by the Russian Copper Company showed that the reserves should be estimated at 8.32 million tons. The gold reserves were estimated at 347 tons, as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the RCC Information Policy Department.
"The company has invested more than 50 billion rubles in the project so far, including a 7 billion ruble long-term preferential loan granted by the Far East Development Fund under the government support program," Dmitry Govorov, RCC Vice President for GR and Strategic Communications, said during the Eastern Economic Forum.
The total amount of investment in the project for development of the Malmyzhskoe deposit and building of the ore mining and processing plant with an annual output of 90 million tons of ore is estimated at 248 billion rubles.
