SVERDLOVSK REGION
The Ural Airlines fleet has become bigger with the new Airbus A321Neo that was delivered directly from the factory in Hamburg. The airliner with VP-BFO registration has become the sixth A321neo-NX and the ninth Neo aircraft used by the carrier.
As the airline's press service informed RusBusinessNews, the cabin is equipped with 240 ultrathin coach class seats, which have USB connectors for charging gadgets, as well as a programmable backlight.
The use of new-generation aluminum alloys and high-tech materials in the A321Neo, CFM International's brand-new LEAP-1A32 engines, and Sharklets – special wingtip extensions – reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 20% in aggregate compared to previous-generation aircraft.
Today, Ural Airlines operates 52 airliners (14 Airbus A321, 24 Airbus A320, 5 Airbus A319, 3 Airbus A320Neo, and 6 Airbus A321Neo).
