Ural Airlines has received a new A321neo. The aircraft of the Airbus A320neo family, the airline’s first jetliner in 2022, arrived in Ekaterinburg from the plant in Hamburg.
As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the carrier’s Press Service, the VP-BFJ aircraft features a mono configuration; its economy-class cabin can hold 240 passengers. The LEAP-1A32 engines from CFM International have a reduced noise level; the nitrogen oxide emissions in the new A321neo are nearly twice as low as those in other models.
Airbus A320neo jetliners are characterized by an increased range and are capable of flying routes of up to 7,400 kilometers without landing.
At present, Ural Airlines is operating 53 aircraft (14 Airbus A321s, 24 Airbus A320s, 5 Airbus A319s, 3 Airbus A320neos, and 7 Airbus A321neos). Another three new Airbus A321neos are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
