ChTPZ Will Increase Shipment Volumes For Baltic Pipeline System05.11.2009 — News THE CHELYABINSK OBLAST. In the next six months JSC Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant (member of ChTPZ Group) will supply 47,500 tons of large diameter pipes to JSC Transneft. They will be used for the construction of the second train of the Baltic pipeline system. The company informed RusBusinessNews that in April-September ChTPZ shipped to Transneft 29,000 tons of 1,067 millimetre diameter pipes with the wall thickness of 11 millimetres for the implementation of this project. The Baltic pipeline system is intended for the export of Russian oil to European and U.S. markets. ChTPS Group is one of the leading industrial groups in the Russian metals industry. According to the 2008 results the share of the company in the total amount of Russian manufacturers' shipments amounted to 19.5%. The company's assets are managed by ARKLEY CAPITAL. |
