VSMPO-Avisma Presented New Products To Techspace Aero05.11.2009 — News THE SVERDLOVSK OBLAST. In 2010, Techspace Aero (Belgium) is planning to order several new product items from VSMPO-Avisma Corporation. In the end of September in the presence of the company's representatives the rolling of certified rotor quality titanium rings for aircraft engines has occurred. The monitoring of the technical process is a mandatory procedure when endorsing technical specifications and the following placement of Techspace Aero batch production order with VSMPO. These parts are going to be used in new engine modifications for Boeing 737, 747, 787 and Airbus 320, 380. According to the long term agreement VSMPO-Avisma is the key supplier of titanium semi-finished products for Techspace Aero. The company informed RusBusinessNews that the order parameters for 2010 will be confirmed at the next stage of negotiations. VSMPO-Avisma Corporation is the world's largest manufacturer of titanium ingots and all types of semi-finished products made of titanium alloys. At the moment the Corporation has more than 300 consumers in 48 countries. Techspace Aero is a part of Safran, an international group which includes Snecma, Turbomeca, Messier Dowty, Microturbo and Techspace Aero. The main areas of Safran Group activities are aerospace propulsion, aircraft equipment, defence, security, and communications. |
