VSMPO-Avisma is Targeting at the French Market

Claude Crouail, the Consul General of France in Ekaterinburg offered the VSMPO-Avisma Corporation to collaborate with French aircraft engineers in developing new joint projects.

The corporation Press-Service informed "RusBusinessNews" that Claude Crouail visited the main operation facilities of VSMPO and Ural Boeing Manufacturing, a Russian-American joint venture. During his meeting with Oleg Leder, Deputy General Director in Marketing and Sales, he discussed trends in the relationship between the corporation and the French aircraft manufacturing market. The Consul General expressed confidence in Russia's switch over from raw materials exports to deliveries of sophisticated aircraft components.

"Today, many of us travel by airplane, trying to save time. It may be said that we live in air. That is why, it was interesting to learn how flying machines are built: to see the titanium smelting process and forming of critical aircraft parts", Claude Crouail shared his impressions after his visit to Verkhnyaya Salda.
