D.Medvedev recommends to the European Union to have a look at the visa-free list15.07.2010 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION, RusBusinessNews Both parties are interested in the transfer to the visa-free regime between Russia and the countries of the European Union. The President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel spoke about that on July 15, 2010 at the joint press conference dedicated to the results of the forum ‘Dialogue of Saint-Petersburg'. "Today I handed to the Chancellor a draft of the visa-free project. I think that project will be moving on progressively", said D. Medvedev. "Not Russian but German businessmen asked us today about that in the first place. Also I want the European Union to pay attention to the list of countries for which EU set the visa-free regime. There are very different countries in that list". Chancellor A. Merkel supported the Russian President. "It's not going to be an easy and quick process, but the goal is right. Some mutual projects cannot come to existence without it". |
